VALLEJO CLOSES THEATERS.

VALLEJO, Cal., Oct. 8- All theaters and public dance halls were closed here today by voluntary action of the managers of these places as a precautionary measure against any epidemic of Spanish influenza.

The 500 civilian workers in the navy yard near here were warned not to congregate in theaters or other crowds. Today's action followed.
