Influenza Peril is Passed at Fremont
San JOSE, Oct. 18- Twenty-nine men have died in the present epidemic at Camp Fremont, from pneumonia superinduced by Spanish influenza, according to an official report made public by Colonel L. L. Smith, division surgeon. There have been 177 cases, Colonel Smith said. Virtually 17 per cent of those who developed pneumonia died, he stated. Colonel Smith declared that the influenza peril at Camp Fremont is passed.
