HONEYMOON TERMINATED BY INFLUENZA
BERKELEY, Oct. 19.- A romance which led several months ago to a wedding in Berkeley came to a sad ending yesterday in the death of Dr. Rushmer Christianson, United States Navy, who succumbed to Spanish influenza yesterday at Vallejo.
The body of Dr. Christianson arrived in Berkeley today for burial, his bride being formerly Miss Ruth Schaeffer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. D. R. Schaeffer of 1614 Walnut street.
Dr. Christianson was stationed at Vallejo, where he was engaged in medical research work for the government, and was a graduate of Eastern colleges. Mrs. Christianson comes of a well-known Berkeley family, which has made its home here for many years. Funeral services were held yesterday afternoon.
